Oleksandr Kramar’s article “A New Economic Map of Ukraine,” which characterizes the dynamics of the development of Ukraine’s economy, was recently published on the Ukrrudprom web resource.

The article begins with disappointing data: “The economy of Ukraine today is in a much worse state than it was on the eve of the global economic crisis of 2008-2009. Gross domestic product in 2015 was only 80% of the pre-crisis 2007 figure, industrial production decreased by a third, and exports, measured in euros, in the first quarter of 2016 were only 76% of the figure in the first quarter of 2008.”

On January 21, 2016, a public discussion of the results of the implementation of state regulatory policy and deregulation in the sphere of economic activity was held in Kyiv. The discussion was attended by leaders of public associations of entrepreneurs and businesses from all regions, international and domestic partners, representatives of the scientific and expert environment, state authorities, and people's deputies of Ukraine. ARPI delegated the head of the organization, Oksana Fedorovych, and legal expert, lawyer, Kyrylo Rubanovsky, to participate in the event.

On November 16, 2015, a delegation of representatives of the Ivano-Frankivsk region visited the ancient Polish city of Krakow, which is famous not only as the cultural capital of Poland, but also as the center of the country's scientific and innovative potential.

On October 21st, 2015 the first rating agency in Ukraine "Credit Rating" announced the assessment of a long-term rating of investment attractiveness for Ivano-Frankivsk pursuant to the National rating scale of investment attractiveness at uaINV4. The specified level in rating means that the city is characterized by a high level of attractiveness for investment. The sensitivity of investment to the investment risks is at low level.
