The Agency for Private Initiative Development has completed an evaluation of youth initiatives that provide specific measures to save and preserve cultural heritage that is suffering from war or is neglected by society.

On September 1, 2022, the implementation of the first year of the Agency for Private Initiative Development (ARPI) project "Promoting Youth Civic Participation in Decentralized Communitiess" began, which is a continuation of the projects "Heritage for Development" (2019 - 2020) and "Heritage for Development-2" (2020 - 2021), aimed at supporting local communities in the preservation and promotion of local heritage. The implementation of the projects was made possible thanks to grant support from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

The war taught us to be brave. Especially in what we doubted even in peaceful life – whether it will succeed or not, whether it is expedient or not, interesting or not interesting. After all, as a creative team, we continue to produce innovations and unite bright and proactive people who share European values for the preservation of cultural and natural heritage. And our everyday experience in war conditions, oddly enough, confirms that the "iron" logic of the principle from dream to action - works now more than ever.

Therefore, we invite you to participate in our program to support young and creative people – those who strive to save the cultural heritage for the completeness of the colorful picture of the future and protect this heritage from the brutal impact of war!

For the attention of researchers / experts / custodians of cultural heritage who, due to the war in Ukraine, were forced to change their place of residence, moving to the Ivano-Frankivsk region, but did not change their passion for learning about the imperishable heritage of our nation.

The Agency for the Development of Private Initiatives (ARPI) and the CSO Network for Support of Communities with Heritage GoHeritage invite students, postgraduates, teachers, scientists, other specialists from among the forcibly displaced persons who work, are studying, carry out / have carried out research practice in the field of history, culture, IT, architecture, art, literature, cinematography, design, psychology and other creative professions to participate in familiarization visits with products / objects of interpretation of the heritage of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. These products are successful cases of uniting the creative potential of local residents to diversify the offer for visitors, and therefore, to increase the economic potential of communities.
