On January 21, 2016, a public discussion of the results of the implementation of state regulatory policy and deregulation in the sphere of economic activity was held in Kyiv. The discussion was attended by leaders of public associations of entrepreneurs and businesses from all regions, international and domestic partners, representatives of the scientific and expert environment, state authorities, and people's deputies of Ukraine. ARPI delegated the head of the organization, Oksana Fedorovych, and legal expert, lawyer, Kyrylo Rubanovsky, to participate in the event.

The analytical report on the activities of the State Regulatory Service of Ukraine for 2015 analyzed the regulatory and legal acts of government bodies at all levels for compliance with the principles of state regulatory policy, such as: expediency, efficiency, adequacy, taking into account public opinion, balance, predictability, and transparency.

The state of implementation of regulatory legislation by government bodies was discussed; the results of reforming the permitting and licensing systems; problems of optimizing the control and supervisory sphere; rates of deregulation in certain sectors of economic activity.
