For the attention of researchers / experts / custodians of cultural heritage who, due to the war in Ukraine, were forced to change their place of residence, moving to the Ivano-Frankivsk region, but did not change their passion for learning about the imperishable heritage of our nation.

The Agency for the Development of Private Initiatives (ARPI) and the CSO Network for Support of Communities with Heritage GoHeritage invite students, postgraduates, teachers, scientists, other specialists from among the forcibly displaced persons who work, are studying, carry out / have carried out research practice in the field of history, culture, IT, architecture, art, literature, cinematography, design, psychology and other creative professions to participate in familiarization visits with products / objects of interpretation of the heritage of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. These products are successful cases of uniting the creative potential of local residents to diversify the offer for visitors, and therefore, to increase the economic potential of communities.

A total of 4 one-day trips will be organized in the second half of August 2022 to beautiful places in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The main highlight of these places are the unique stories of specific residents, whom we call the bearers of the living heritage of our ancestors, because they support the disappearing cultures of work, phenomena and phenomena of small communities with their love.

The program includes visits to estates, natural wonders, heritage centers and museums and live communication with local people from such communities as Vyhoda, Dolyna, Bolekhiv, Kosiv, Yavoriv, Biloberezka. For your attention - newly created products for learning about the Carpathian living heritage: demonstrations of cultures of work, culinary master classes, interactive excursions and even personal experience of farming.

As organizers, we are interested in feedback on heritage products, a fresh perspective and ideas for its interpretation for further application in the social, economic and cultural life of communities and Ukraine as a whole.

Participation in the tours is free of charge. Selection is on a competitive basis. It is planned to form a group of 20 people.

The tours are organized within the framework of the project “Legacy for Development-II: Increasing the Management Capacity of Small Communities in Ukraine through Youth Engagement”, which is implemented with the support of the US National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
