The event is organized with the support of the USAID GOVERLA Project by the NGO “Private Initiative Development Agency” within the framework of the project “Identifying Opportunities to Use Heritage for Economic Development of Small Communities”.
The conference will be attended by representatives of 12 project communities (local authorities, business, and civil society), other stakeholders (non-target communities), experts in cultural and natural heritage management, and leaders of CSO partners of the GoHeritage!
During the event, the results of the rapid assessment and heritage potential index of 12 communities in Ukraine will be presented, and three communities will be announced for further cooperation in developing plans for the interpretation of their heritage. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to work in groups during the Opportunity Workshop. Communities will present their experiences based on cultural heritage, analyze problems and obstacles to community development, and visualize their desired future through discussion and debate.
