STS of Ukraine implements a new service for enterprises with foreign investment – providing the legal assessment of investment projects for the presence of tax risks. As the result, the tax office will help business to avoid risk situations through misinterpretation of national legislation by foreign entrepreneurs.

 According to the tax analysts, investors are not always correctly interpret the tax legislation and don’t understand those limits under which the optimization becomes a violation. Moreover, today there is a stable market of services regarding creation of business processes which are illegal in terms of tax legislation. Quite often the managers of companies use these schemes without the knowledge of employers for cost optimization. 

That is why, for many investors become a surprise to receive the messages concerning violations committed during the implementation of the investment projects and the accrued penal sanctions.

The new tax service will help the enterprises with foreign investment to avoid such troubles. Moreover, they will also be able to check the conscientiousness of its potential enterprises’ contractors. Tax office, in its turn, will promptly consider the entrepreneurs’ requests and inform them about the correspondence of business transaction to tax legislation. Letter writing will be personalized and fully confidential. At the same time, the entrepreneurs will be able to fix all the detected errors by themselves before the official issuance of transaction.

Such informational support, according to the tax analysts will help the foreign investors to create business plans more effectively and gain earnings which will stimulate the investment climate and Ukrainian economy growth.
