The project leading partner was the Public organization ‘Resource Centre’ from Ivano-Frankivsk.

The Agency was responsible for study of the educational institutions and departments of education from two districts in Ivano-Frankivsk region - Bohorodchany and Kolomiya districts.

Project outputs and results: The studied procedures of procurement of catering services for secondary schools in the target regions helped to reveal gaps in the regulations of the negotiated procedures and open tender procedures with the risk of corruption. Based on the study findings, the Agency provided recommendations as for the equal access of the small and medium businesses to the public procurement and assessed the transparency and objectivity of tender procedures. Some of the gaps were considered and eliminated by the new Law of Ukraine ‘On Public Procurement’ (became valid from 01.08.2016).
