The project has been implemented by the Foundation ‘E-Governance Academy’ from Estonia.
Project partners were Ivano-Frankivsk regional State Administration, Ivano-Frankivsk Regional centre for Investment and Development, Agency of Private Initiatives Development.
The project goals were to develop the potential of Ivano-Frankivsk region in the implementation of information and communication technologies to improve the quality of administrative services provided by the executive and local authorities in the region; to increase the governance transparency of governance and strengthen local democracy; to spread best practices of e-governance in other regions of Ukraine. The Agency carried out the administrative functions in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Project outputs and results: analysis of the state of development of information and communication technologies in the Ivano-Frankivsk region conducted; the Concept of E-government in the Ivano-Frankivsk region elaborated; four technical projects of E-governance in selected municipalities of Ivano-Frankivsk region implemented (the call centre in the city of Kalush, mobile tours for tourists in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, electronic document circulation in Ivano-Frankivsk, Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration). In addition, the electronic document management system was implemented in the city of Lviv and recommendations on development of e-governance for local authorities in Ukraine were developed. A week study tour for the representatives of private companies and local governments from Ivano-Frankivsk region was organized to Estonia and Sweden to familiarize the participants with the practices of e-governance (2012, 15 participants).
