Project outputs and results: The RIRC activity focused on the following main directions:

Increase availability of quality information on corruption in Ukraine. The Centre organized public informational campaigns covering all oblasts in its region to provide citizens with high-quality research information on the real state of corruption. Information campaigns include dissemination of the survey’s results on the state of corruption in different areas (determined by the government of Ukraine as a part of the Threshold Programme of Millennium Challenge Corporation) conducted by the ACTION project. As a result, 4 presentation events for mass media and general public were held in 4 project target  regional centres as well as 22 presentation events were held in other cities, 26 publications were prepared and published in mass media.

Educate NGOs and mass media in Ukraine to gain skills to more effectively combat corruption. The Centre conducted training events in close cooperation with ACTION Kiev office, invited all interested NGOs and mass media in the oblasts covered; provided team of trainers for project activities; provided logistics and technical support to all events. As a result, 25 trainings were organized in four regions of Ukraine with participation of over 500 people. 

Enhance communication between ACTION Project grantees. The Centre hold the quarterly events for all ACTION grantees in the region to network them with each other, to distribute and receive updates and project news, exchange experience and plan joint events. The Centre also prepared and disseminated weekly news in connection to the project implementation. Furthermore, ACTION Project grantees were provided with individual consultations regarding different spheres of activities. As a result, 7 quarterly meetings were organized. 

Strengthen cooperation between NGOs and local authorities by conducting events that contribute to the cooperation process with local authorities in the selected regions. (conference of judges from four regions; a number of round table discussions with the local authorities and NGOs).
